INTRODUCING THE J.CREW X NEW BALANCE 997 CORTADO

J.Crew has teamed with New Balance once again, this time with a espresso themed version of the 997 silhouette.  Crafted in the USA from premium suede and in an exclusive colorway, the J.Crew X New Balance 997 ‘Cortado’ pays homage to a drink which has been given a variety of aliases depending on what region of the globe you are in.  Known as Cortado on the East Coast, the drink has a variation of names, including “gibraltar” on the West Coast, “cafe noisette” in France, “cortadito” in Cuba and “piccolo late” in Australia.

Serving as another clean colorway for the portfolio of collaborative projects for J.Crew, the New Balance 997 ‘Cortado’ is set to drop in extremely limited quantities on March 25th at 10:00 AM(local time).  The sneaker will be available both in store and online.  Those that are lucky enough to get their hands on the in-store release will have a chance to purchase the limited edition Counter Culture Coffee for J.Crew medium roast.  New Yorkers will have a chance to purchase the sneakers March 24th, 6-8:00 PM EST at Counter Culture 376 Broome Street, New York, NY plus learn how to make a cortado.
